HM the King receives US ambassador

Manama, Aug. 30 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Al-Sakhir Palace today the US Ambassador to Bahrain, William Roebuck. HM the King reviewed with the ambassador the progress of the long-standing solid relations between the two friendly countries, as well as the steadily-growing bilateral cooperation. HM King Hamad affirmed Bahrain’s keenness to consolidate relations with the US, and enhance joint cooperation and coordination for the best interests of the two countries and their friendly people. HM the King hailed the role of the US and its support to the international efforts aimed at reinforcing security and stability in the region and serving global peace.
