HM King, Saudi monarch hold meeting

Diriyah, Nov. 3 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held today a meeting with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at Al-Ouja Palace, in Diriyah.
HM the King expressed thanks and respect to King Salman for the gracious welcome and for Saudi Arabia’s historic and honourable stances in support of Bahrain and its people. He described the Bahraini-Saudi relations as a unique model of fraternal ties, complementarity of visions and unity of stances regarding various issues.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques welcomed HM the King, hailed his visit to Saudi Arabia and lauding deep-rooted fraternal relations between both countries.
Both leaders reviewed distinguished historic relations and their growth at all levels. They stressed keenness to back bilateral efforts to bolster strategic cooperation and coordination to achieve common interests.
HM King Hamad affirmed Bahrain’s unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing that Bahrain will always stand by the side of the kingdom against hostile campaigns and plots targeting it. He commended Saudi Arabia’s pioneering role, under the leadership of King Salman, in defending Arab and Islamic issues, protecting the interests of the Arab and Islamic nation and maintaining regional security and stability.
HM King Hamad and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques discussed the latest Arab, regional and international developments and exchanged views on issues of common concern.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques held a lunch banquet in honour of HM the King.
