HM the King voices pride in Bahraini artists

Manama, Sep. 20 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, the Interior Ministry's Undersecretary for the National, Passports and Residence Affairs and the Honorary President of the Bahrain Fine Arts Society, Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, who presented him with one of his paintings. HM King Hamad expressed thanks and appreciation to Shaikh Rashid for his valuable artist work, and commended the tremendous efforts he had exerted while preparing it. HM the King expressed admiration for the painting which reflected the artist's skills and distinction. HM King Hamad hailed the efforts of Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa, and his dedication in serving fine art and developing it, wishing him further success. HM the King voiced pride in Bahraini fine artists who, he said, have managed to highlight the kingdom's civilisational and cultural image through their creativity and distinctive artistic works. Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa extended deepest thanks and appreciation to HM the King for his interest in the Bahraini artistic movement, and constant keenness on supporting Bahraini artists, praying Allah Almighty to bless HM King Hamad with abundant good health and happiness so as to continue bringing about more progress and prosperity for the homeland.
