HRH CP: HRH Princess Sabeeka’s vision has bolstered women’s advancement regionally and internationally

Manama, May 31 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister, this evening visited the Majlis of Al Haj Sadiq and Al Haj Taqi Al Baharna, the Majlis of Al Mudaifa and Al Rahma, and the Majlis of Faisal Hasan Jawad. HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the Kingdom’s long-standing efforts to support Bahraini women, which has helped a range of Bahraini women become role models for women’s advancement. HRH the Crown Prince also highlighted that women’s advancement is supported by the Kingdom’s comprehensive development programme, led by HM King Hamad, and the vision of the President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa. HRH the Crown Prince added that HM the King and HRH Princess Sabeeka’s vision places Bahraini women at the heart of the Kingdom’s development. HRH the Crown Prince added that the Kingdom, through its successful policies and programmes aimed at supporting women, has been able to provide equal opportunities for both men and women across various sectors. HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the support provided by SCW and its commitment to further strengthening the role of women through its initiatives and programmes. HRH the Crown Prince noted that Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 sets out a clear picture of the aspirations of the Kingdom, including its economic development which is built around the three principles of sustainability, competitiveness and fairness. HRH the Crown Prince stressed the importance of preserving Bahrain’s historical identity within new development and modern architecture, as well as streamlining building permit processes to strengthen sustainable urban development and environmental protections. HRH the Crown Prince highlighted that the Kingdom continues to invest in its citizens through education, training and high value job creation, which enables long-term improvement in citizens’ standard of living. HRH the Crown Prince extended his best wishes during the holy month of Ramadan.
