HRH CP: United efforts of all needed in order to meet the Kingdom’s desired development goals

Manama, June 16 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister this evening visited the Majlis of the Minister for the Shura Council and House of Representatives Affairs, His Excellency Ghanim bin Fadhel Al Buainain, the Majlis of the Al Mahmood family, the Majlis of the Al Musallam family, and the Majlis of Faisal Jawad. The Crown Prince highlighted that the next phase of Bahrain’s development will see the implementation of a range of steps that will further preserve the Kingdom’s economic resilience in the face of adverse global economic conditions. His Royal Highness stressed that enhancing the public sector’s role in supporting long-term development remains a top priority. His Royal Highness highlighted that during the next phase of development, the public sector’s role will focus on supporting the Kingdom’s development process. The Crown Prince went on to stress that strengthening the role of the private sector will help drive economic growth and increase competitiveness in a range of areas. The Crown Prince also added that establishing public-private partnerships is a key driver of increasing opportunities for citizens, which will build on Bahrain’s advanced regulatory framework and competitiveness. His Royal Highness noted that this economic development is part of the economic strategies within Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, a longstanding initiative aimed at strengthening the Kingdom’s long-term economic structure, which is in line with the directives of His Majesty the King, and meets the aspirations of the government under the leadership of the Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. In this regard, His Royal Highness further highlighted the government’s efforts that support sustainable development through various projects and initiatives. The Crown Prince highlighted the important role Bahrainis play in supporting the Kingdom’s sustainable development efforts, and stressed that investing in citizens’ futures is a key component of Bahrain’s ongoing development programme. In regards to the Kingdom’s major development projects, His Royal Highness highlighted the support provided by the government to initiatives that help integrate and strengthen public-private partnerships. His Royal Highness noted that these major development projects will help diversify economic sources of income to help meet the needs of Bahrain’s citizens, and enhance the country’s economic standing. His Royal Highness then exchanged Ramadan greetings with the majlis hosts and attendees, highlighting the role they play in bringing society together, and expressing appreciation towards the efforts of the country’s citizens. His Royal Highness noted that the Kingdom’s further development requires the efforts of all to meet the desired goals. The majlis hosts and guests expressed their gratitude for the Crown Prince’s visits, and highlighted the Crown Prince’s role in advancing the Kingdom’s long-term development. His Highness Shaikh Mohamed bin Salman Al Khalifa, son of His Royal Highness, accompanied the Crown Prince during his visits.
