HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey

Manama, Jan. 31 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, HE Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness highlighted the growth of relations between Bahrain and Turkey and noted the importance of furthering bilateral cooperation across various sectors, particularly within the economic sector. HE Çavuşoğlu conveyed the greetings of the President of Turkey, HE Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to His Royal Highness, and in return HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister conveyed his greetings to HE the President of Turkey. Regional and international issues of common interest were also discussed. For his part, HE Çavuşoğlu expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, and highlighted HRH’s commitment to furthering ties between the two countries. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
