HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt

Manama, Feb. 14 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Arab Republic of Egypt, HE Dr Hanafi Ali El-Gebali, and an accompanying delegation, at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness highlighted that strategic relations continue to thrive between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt, through the mutual commitment and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the President of Egypt, HE Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. His Royal Highness noted Egypt's comprehensive development, led by HE El-Sisi. His Royal Highness welcomed HE Dr El-Gebali and the accompanying delegation’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting his wishes that the visit will strengthen cooperation and coordination across government related fields. Regional and international issues of common interest were also discussed. For his part, HE Dr El-Gebali expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, and highlighted HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s commitment to furthering Bahrain-Egypt ties across the governmental field and other sectors. The Deputy Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, HE Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, and the Minister for Shura Council and Council of Representatives Affairs, HE Ghanim bin Fadhel Al Buainain, also attended the meeting.
