HRH Crown Prince congratulated on global achievement

Manama, July 25 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister received a cable of congratulations from Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed on the Kingdom of Bahrain's ranking fourth in the global Telecommunications Infrastructure Index (TII) issued for the e-Government Development Index (EGDI). The minister thanked HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier for his support, lauding his key role in boosting Bahrain’s telecommunication sector to accelerate its development. It is worth mentioning that Bahrain has moved up seven places after ranking 11th in the previous report of 2016 in TII of the E-Government Development Index (EGDI) according to the UN e-Government Report.
