HRH Crown Prince congratulates BCCI chairman, members

Manama, Mar. 22 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, has sent a cable of congratulations to Sameer Abdulla Nass, marking his election as Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). "The greater the size of achievements is, the wider the ambitions and the aspirations towards the future become," HRH Crown Prince said in his cable, wishing BCCI Chairman every success in carrying out his duties. HRH the Crown Prince pointed out that the commercial sector plays a major role in His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s comprehensive development march through which the fertile growth environment is being prepared by altering the role of the public sector from being the main engine of growth to a regulator and a partner to the private sector, which will increase its achievements and quality contributions through supporting creativity and stimulating competitiveness. HRH Crown Prince also congratulated the new BCCI board members for their success in the elections of the 29th session of BCCI board, and their winning the confidence of the business community to reach BCCI, the platform of Bahraini traders, who have always contributed to Bahrain’s development and progress, wishing them every success in bringing about more gains for the commercial sector in the kingdom. HRH the Crown Prince said that the Economic Vision for Bahrain 2030, which is based on sustainability, competitiveness and fairness, is a platform where the partnership between the public and private sectors can flourish, being the solid basis for reaching the highest levels of cooperation for the sake of attaining achievements that have positive impacts on the Bahraini citizens in various fields. HRH Crown Prince asserted that constructive interaction with BCCI will continue, noting that it is the all-inclusive traders’ home, and their voice that epitomizes giving, hard work and commitment to Bahrain’s civilisational spirit and authentic values.
