HRH Crown Prince highlights Bahrain’s commitment to encouraging growth within key sectors

Manama, May 29 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister, this evening visited the Majlis of the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, His Excellency Mohammed Al Mutawa, the Majlis of Ahmed Mansoor Al A’ali, the Majlis of the sons of the late Haji Hasan Al A’ali, and the Majlis of the Al Jalahma family. During the Majlis visits, HRH the Crown Prince highlighted that Bahrain’s commitment to supporting citizens’ aspirations and improving living standards sits at the heart of the Kingdom’s comprehensive development programme, led by HM the King, including efforts to advance the tourism, logistics, manufacturing, ICT, financial services, and oil and gas sectors HRH the Crown Prince also highlighted the important role these sectors play in attracting international investment and providing employment opportunities for Bahrainis, adding that the Kingdom continues to prioritise initiatives that improve efficiency HRH the Crown Prince stressed the importance of simplifying procedures within the logistics sector as a catalyst for growth given the industry’s ability to increase the competitive power of national corporations in today’s interconnected global economy HRH the Crown Prince noted that Bahrain’s airport expansion project, which will increase the Kingdom’s airport capacity by 300 percent, is only the latest example of the broad range of initiatives and regulatory measures introduced to encourage further growth
