HRH Crown Prince thanked by BCCI chairman

Manama, Mar. 23 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, has received a cable of thanks from the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Sameer Abdulla Nass, in reply to his congratulations on his election to his post. Nass extended, on behalf of BCCI board members and the trade and industrial community, deepest thanks, appreciation and gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince, for his congratulatory cable on his election as Chairman of the 29th session of BCCI Board, as well as for his wishes of success to them in contributing to bringing about more gains for the trade sector in the kingdom. He said that HRH the Crown Prince’s constant interaction with BCCI and support for it, and his assertion of the major role played by the trade sector in the comprehensive development march spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa will motivate them to cooperate with all government departments and bodies to transform the role of private sector in order to be a partner to the public sector in enhancing the sustainable development march, diversifying the economic base and generating job opportunities for the citizens, which will double the achievements and qualitative contributions of the private sector, and increase its productivity and competitive potentials. He pledged that BCCI will continue its constructive communication with its members, being, as HRH Crown Prince said in his congratulatory cable, the all-inclusive traders’ home, and their voice that epitomizes giving, hard work and commitment to Bahrain’s civilisational spirit and authentic values. He added that BCCI enjoys an important status in the kingdom’s modern history, and will continue playing its vital role as a representative of the commercial and industrial movement in the kingdom, which, he said, will motivate BCCI board to carry on working with resolve and determination to serve the homeland. He expressed hope that BCCI will continue enjoying the support of the leadership in order to enhance its status and role, stressing confidence that RH the Crown Prince’s positive and honourable stance towards BCCI and the private sector will enable it to attain more achievements that support HRH Crown Prince’s efforts aiming to develop the national economy. BCCI chief wished HRH the Crown Prince every success in achieving more progress and economic development for the kingdom during HM King Hamad’s prosperous era, and his government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
