HRH Premier calls for more Bahrain-UK cooperation

Manama, Sep. 18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has affirmed that the way is always paved for more economic and trade cooperation between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, given the solid long-standing relations between the two friendly countries and their shared desire to bolster them in various fields. While receiving the UK Secretary of State for International Trade, Dr. Liam Fox, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, HRH Premier praised the friendship and cooperation ties binding Bahrain and the UK in various fields, including trade. He underlined keenness on strengthening Bahrain-UK trade and economic cooperation, and launching projects between the private sector in the two kingdoms for their best interests. The British investments are always welcome in the Kingdom of Bahrain amid its available opportunities and promising sectors for that, he said. The UK minister stressed his country's deep appreciation of the role played by HRH the Prime Minister in boosting the friendship and cooperation bilateral ties, as well as his encouragement of joint projects and motivation of British companies to invest in Bahrain. He affirmed Britain's keenness on extending bridges of cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain based on their deep-rooted relations.
