HRH Premier: Co-existence integral part of Bahraini culture

Manama, Oct. 18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has affirmed that co-existence is an integral part of the Bahraini culture, and a deep-rooted distinctive feature of its society, noting that the kingdom has become a role model regarding freedom of religion and co-existence within the one-family that embraces all its citizens and brings them together. HRH Premier made the statements as he received at the Gudaibiya Palace today an Indian delegation of peaceful co-existence activists, currently on a visit to the kingdom to be informed about its unique co-existence experience, given the positive atmosphere it provides for the free exercise of rites for all religions. HRH the Prime Minister praised the steadily-progressing Bahraini-Indian relations in various fields, lauding the key role played by the expatriate Indian community in the kingdom's development projects. Members of the Indian delegation expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for the care allocated by the Government to the Indian community in Bahrain, praising the atmosphere provided by the government to promote co-existence values, which, they said, has entitled the kingdom to be an honourable example in fostering tolerance and dialogue among civilisalisations and cultures to serve humanity.
