HRH Premier congratulated on GAP approval

Manama, Jan. 29 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today received a cable from Deputy Premier, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
The deputy premier extended to HRH the Prime Minister deepest congratulations on the Representatives Council’s endorsement of the Government Action Plan (GAP) 2019-2022.
Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla stressed that HRH Premier’s directives to extend bridges of cooperation with the Legislative Branch, in the general, and the Representatives Council’s GAP Committee, in particular, represented a roadmap for the government’s team to the joint GAP meetings.
He asserted that meetings of the government’s team, deputised by HRH the Prime Minister, with the Representatives Council’s committee were held within an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust, flexibility and transparency, which, he said, had contributed to reaching common grounds that took into consideration the all-inclusive national interests and preserved the gains of the nation and the citizens during His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s prosperous era.
The approval of the Government Action Plan for the next four years by the elected Council of Representatives reflects the confidence of the Bahraini people in the ability of government, which has never spared any effort in order to serve the nation and the citizens through the provision of all the requirements of a secure, stable and decent life, to continue its efforts to achieve the requirements of comprehensive development in various fields and embark on a new phase of nation action that will be laden with achievements, and based on optimal investment in the human capital and resources, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, who is the Chairman of the government’s team to the joint GAP meetings, said.
The deputy premier pledged that work will continue to translate HRH Premier’s sound directives into the ground to reach the highest levels of performance and achievement in the sectors that the Prime Minister follows up on them closely, including housing, health, education and economy, among others, to ensure that the citizens enjoy sustainable economic and social security within the framework of the aspired for fiscal balance.
