HRH Premier congratulated by GCC chief

Manama, Feb. 25 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has received a congratulatory cable from the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani on obtaining the Flame of Peace Award in tribute for his outstanding humanitarian role in promoting peace, boosting relations between peoples and strengthening the pillars of regional and global security. Dr. Al-Zayani extended sincere congratulations to HRH Premier on the Flame of Peace Award conferred on him by the Peace Promotion Association, making him the first Arab Premier to receive the prestigious honour. He stressed that the award affirmed the leading and crucial role played by Bahrain at the global level. The GCC chief prayed to Allah Almighty to bless HRH Premier with abundant good health and long life, and guide him on the right path. He wished Bahrain further progress and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Premier and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
