HRH Premier congratulated by Speaker

Manama, July 1 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla on the US State Department 2018 Trafficking in Persons Report (TIP), which upgrades Bahrain to Tier 1 status. Al Mulla praised the Kingdom’s efforts and achievements to develop legal frameworks to combat trafficking in persons and to develop appropriate mechanisms to deal with any suspected cases. He confirms the government’s full commitment to the standards of eliminating trafficking in persons, which enabled it to deserve Tier 1 status, stressing Bahrain’s respect to international community. Speaker wished HRH the Premier good health and happiness, stressing to continue efforts to bringing more development and prosperity to Bahrain and its people.
