HRH Premier: Conspiracies will be defeated

Manama, June 16 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier visited the majlis of Deputy Premier Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa. During the visit, HRH the Premier and HRH the Crown Prince exchanged with majlis attendees Ramadan greetings, stressing the importance of majlises which serve as platforms to exchange opinions relating to the future of the country. The Premier took pride in people’s strong awareness at defining national historic moments, which reflects unwavering support to the Government’s policies to achieve interests and maintain security and stability. He urged all people to disregard attempts to derail the national march, stressing the importance of boosting development achievements whose windfall will benefit the country and its people. The Premier dismissed any compromise regarding national security and stability, highlighting that the strict application of the law cannot be compromised even in well-established democracies. Addressing the attendees, the Premier said that the government will spare no effort to protect achievements and thwart any attempt to exploit the atmosphere of freedom and democracy. "The Kingdom of Bahrain will always remain a beacon of freedom and democracy", he said, adding that sound peaceful expression of opinion is enshrined in the constitution. The Government of Bahrain, he said, will never cave in and will confront conspirators and proponents of sectarian strife. The Deputy Premier thanked HRH the Premier and HRH the Crown Prince for their visit which reflects their keenness on reaching out to people during Ramadan.
