HRH Premier hails Bahrain-Russian ties

Manama, May 9 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa deputised his advisor His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa to attend a ceremony marking Russia’s National Day. Russian Ambassador Vagif Garaev hosted the ceremony at the Diplomat Hotel, in the presence of senior officials, members of diplomatic corps accredited to Bahrain and invitees. HH Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa conveyed greetings from HRH the Premier to the leadership and people of Russia on this national occasion, wishing Russia and its friendly people further development and progress. He lauded strong bilateral relations binding Bahrain and Russia in all fields, stressing the Kingdom’s keenness on expanding joint cooperation towards serving the common interests of the two countries and peoples and activating joint agreements and memoranda of understanding. The Russian envoy extended thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier, hailing his keenness on bolstering joint cooperation and friendship in all fields. He reiterated his country’s keenness on bolstering joint cooperation and partnership.
