HRH Premier hails Bahraini-South Korean relations

Manama, Mar. 28 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has stressed Bahrain’s keenness on enhancing cooperation with South Korean in various fields, including health and medical care.
HRH Premier highlighted the government’s support for enhancing the level of bilateral ties in the political, economic and investment fields.
The Prime Minister was speaking while receiving South Korea’s Health and Welfare Minister, Park Neunghoo, at the Gudaibiya Palace today.
HRH Premier asserted that the regional and global development require stronger cooperation with friendly countries, such as South Korea, in various fields, to take advantage of each other’s expertise in health and social welfare.
HRH Premier highlighted the government’s interest in developing health services through being informed about world experiences to reach the highest levels of quality in this regard.
The government, within its programmes and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of health services, seeks to avail of the experiences of other countries, including South Korea, in the fields of information technology and health insurance, he said.
The Prime Minister praised the prestigious reputation and the major role played by South Korean companies in the field of health information technology, and other fields of technology, affirming that joint cooperation can expanded in many fields.
HRH Premier reviewed with the South Korean minister the progress of the friendly relations between the two countries, affirming the kingdom’s interest in opening up new horizons of cooperation and coordination with that country in all fields.
The Prime Minister expressed admiration for the advanced level of the Bahraini-South Korean cooperation, noting that the two countries’ relations are based on mutual respect and shared keenness on ensuring the interests of the two friendly peoples.
The South Korean Health and Welfare Minister praised the progress witnessed by the kingdom in the health and the therapeutic fields.
He stressed that the quantum leaps made by the kingdom in this regard reflect the success of the health policies, programmes and strategies of the government, led by HRH the Prime Minister, affirming his country’s readiness to consolidate cooperation with Bahrain in all fields.
