HRH Premier issues edicts 25 and 26/2018

Manama, Aug. 5 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister issued Edict 25/2018 and Edict 26/2018. Edict 25/2018 stipulated the amending of Article 1 of Edict 32/2011 regarding creation and formation of the National Committee for Unified Purchases of Medicines. The committee has been restructured as follows: Professor Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa (as Chairman) Aisha Adel Al Baloushi as representative of the Royal Medical Services (as Deputy Chairperson) Sima Mohamed Zainal, as representative of the Ministry of Health (MoH) Roya Mohamed Al-Abbasi, representing the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) Rehab Ahmed Al-Nuaimi, representing the Ministry of Health (MoH) Wijdan Saleh Mnaizel, representing the Ministry of Health (MoH) Fadi Samir Ayyoub, representing King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH) Fahmida Khanem Mohamed, as representative of the Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Specialist Centre for Cardiology Ayat Shawqi, representing MoH (as Committee Rapporteur) Edict 26/2018 stipulated to replace Dr. Samir Al Atoom, President of the Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI - Bahrain)'s Medical University by Dr. Mazin Mohammed Juma as a representative of private universities in the Advisory Committee of Bahrain's Quality Assurance of Education and Training (BQA) to complete the term of his predecessor.
