Bangkok, Oct. 10 (BNA): Kuwaiti Amir, HH Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa have underlined the need to enhance consultation and coordination among the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), especially amid the enormous challenges faced by the region, and the growing pressures exerted on its countries under various names.
They also stressed the importance of holding a high-profile regional meeting to coordinate stances, and increase the ability to counter the multiple threats to the region, and the conflicts resulting from them that jeopardize its security and stability.
This came as HRH Premier paid a visit to the Kuwaiti Amir, on the sidelines of the Second Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit, currently held here.
The two leaders affirmed the depth of the Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations thanks to the support of the two countries' leaderships.
HRH the Prime Minister lauded the topics included in the Kuwaiti Amir's speech to ACD Summit.
