HRH Premier lauds Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations

Manama, Mar. 20 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has asserted that Bahrain’s history is laden with landmark achievements, expressing deep pride in the national work pioneers who had contributed to the kingdom’s progress and prosperity, and whose accomplishments have been strengthened during His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s prosperous era. The Prime Minister made the statements while receiving Royal Family members and senior state officials, in the presence of the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain, and Dean of Diplomatic Corps, Shaikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah, at the Gudaibiya Palace today. HRH Premier lauded the role played by the State of Kuwait, under the leadership of Amir, HH Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, as well as its effective contributions, regionally and internationally.  The Prime Minister lauded the depth of the long-standing brotherly Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations, hailing the advanced level reached by bilateral ties. The Kuwaiti Ambassador stressed that HRH Premier enjoys a distinguished status in the heart of everyone at the local, GCC and Arab levels for his wisdom, experience and honourable stances. HRH Premier affirmed that the kingdom had attained multiple achievements towards renaissance and progress, noting that the government seeks to meet the citizens’ needs and follow up on the implementation of development plans aimed at consolidating Bahrain’s status, optimising its people’s gains and ensuring a brighter future for the coming generations. "The Kingdom of Bahrain boasts a deep-rooted civilisation, and a rich past that is full of giving and milestone achievements attained by the people of Bahrain through their outstanding contributions to the country’s civilisational process," he said.  The Prime Minister called for paying more attention to Bahrain’s history and national work pioneers’ achievements through encouraging efforts to document and preserve them, so as to remain a witness for the Bahraini people’s long history and civilisation. HRH Premier recalled with appreciation and pride the historical role played by Bahraini and GCC families in preserving the fraternity and love among the GCC peoples.
