HRH Premier lauds national achievements

Manama, May 30 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudhibiya Palace today Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, First Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council Jamal Mohammed Fakhro and a number of MPs and senior state officials, in the presence of former Representatives Council Speaker Khalifa Al-Dhahrani. HRH the Prime Minister lauded national achievements and cooperation between the executive and legislative branches during the second sessions of the fourth legislative term of the Shura and Representatives Councils. He underscored the government's support to the parliament in order for it to fully perform its monitoring and legislative work. He also urged commitment to the principle of unity, being the best way to deal with all challenges and threats. HRH the Premier voiced confidence in the Bahraini people to protect their homeland from all threats and challenges thanks to their patriotism and unity. He underlined the government's commitment to boosting citizens' welfare by continuously optimising services. He stressed that all ministers and government officials have clear directives to increase field visits to cities and villages to reach out to citizens' needs and cater for them. HRH the Prime Minister discussed regional and international developments, warning of policies aimed at inciting sedition and division to serve particular agendas.
