HRH Premier praises Bahraini, GCC artists

Manama, May 17 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has asserted that Bahrain boasts of a rich deep-rooted artistic and cultural heritage that has spread in the region and succeeded in preserving authentic Bahraini and GCC values. HRH Premier lauded the outstanding success of Bahraini and GCC artists in developing the artistic and cultural movement, stressing that they should focus on noble human values that call for co-existence and peace. HRH the Prime Minister made the stances while receiving at the Gudaibiya Palace today Bahraini and GCC artists and intellectuals who participated in the "Bahrain for All and All for Bahrain" festivity. The Prime Minister hailed the steady progress of the GCC artistic and cultural movement thanks to generations of creative artists whose works and productions have enriched the artistic and cultural scene and reflected reality in the best way. HRH the Prime Minister expressed admiration for the creative works presented by participants in the "Bahrain for All and All for Bahrain" festivity, noting that their creative works embodied the coexistence and love among all segments of the Bahraini society. The cultural and artistic shows of the "Bahrain for All and All for Bahrain" celebration reflected the cultures of various countries, and confirmed the crucial role played by arts and culture in extending bridges of communication and rapprochement among peoples, he said. HRH Premier expressed delight at the good feelings expressed by expatriate communities towards Bahrain on various occasions, commending their efforts in enhancing the kingdom's development process. "Bahrain has been –and will remain- open to all cultures within the framework of co-existence and tolerance that have always been a distinctive feature of the people of Bahrain throughout history," he added. HRH Premier expressed thanks and appreciation to the organisers of the "Bahrain for All and All for Bahrain" festivity for their efforts to prepare and ensure its success, wishing them further success. The audience extended utmost thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his constant support to the artistic and cultural movement in the country, affirming that his unwavering interest in enriching the artistic and cultural scene in the kingdom has motivated them to be more creative. They lauded the Prime Minister's vision on the role of art and culture in strengthening rapprochement among people, noting that the "Bahrain for All and All for Bahrain" was in line with his sound vision.
