HRH Premier praises solid Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations

Manama, Oct. 27 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received, at his Riffa Palace today, Kuwait’s Interior Ministry’s Assistant Undersecretary for Citizenship and Passports Major-General Shaikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, who currently on a visit to Bahrain to take part in the 14th IISS Manama Dialogue. HRH Premier welcomed the visit of Shaikh Faisal Nawaf to Bahrain, which, he said, reflects the long-standing fraternal relations between the two countries. Shaikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Sabah conveyed to HRH Premier greetings from Kuwaiti Amir, HH Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and Crown Prince, HH Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and their wishes of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain. HRH the Prime Minister requested the Kuwaiti official to convey his greetings to Kuwaiti Amir, Crown Prince and Premier, and his wishes of continuous progress and prosperity to Kuwait and its brotherly people. HRH Premier lauded the steady progress of the Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations in various fields, thus embodying the depth of bilateral ties, and the shared desire of the two countries to enhance cooperation between them. The Prime Minister stressed that Bahrain is keen to consolidate cooperation with sisterly Kuwait in everything that would contribute to serving common interests and meeting the aspirations of both countries and peoples, especially in light of the unique bilateral relations and mutual respect and understanding between the two countries’ leaderships and peoples. HRP Premier praised the efforts exerted by the Kuwaiti Amir to enhance his country’s progress, s well as his endeavours to promote joint Arab and GCC action within a wise vision seeking to promote security and stability in the region. The Prime Minister underlined the importance of intensifying exchanged visits between the two countries' officials to increase joint rapprochement, understanding and coordination on various regional and international issues. Major General Shaikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his interest in everything that would strengthen brotherly relations and cooperation between the two brotherly countries. He affirmed that HRH Premier enjoys great love and appreciation and respect, as a GCC leader with a wise vision that has clearly contributed to the kingdom’s development, and to strengthening the pillars of joint Arab and GCC cooperation.
