HRH Premier praises solid ties with Qatar

Manama, Feb. 24 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has affirmed that the Bahraini-Qatari relations are characterised by mutual love and shared desire to build on the solid fraternal bilateral relations. "In the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), we have to be closer and more cohesive in the midst of the rapidly-unfolding developments and the serious challenges posing a threat to the region, especially given the fact that there are no obstacles between its member states," HRH Premier said while receiving the Qatari Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, currently on a visit to the kingdom. HRH the Prime Minister welcomed the Qatari minister, and reviewed with him the solid brotherly bilateral relations, and ways to bolster them in all fields. The Prime Minister also discussed with him the latest regional and global developments, as well as issues of common interest. The Qatari Foreign Minister conveyed to HRH Premier greetings from the Qatari Amir Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Deputy Amir Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister Shaikh Abdulla bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.
