HRH Premier praises three branches' cooperation

Manama, May 16 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has asserted that cooperation between the Executive, the Legislature and the Judiciary is on the right track, which, he said, embodies the success of the ambitious National Project spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
All Bahrainis have every right to be proud of the achievements attained under this great project whose accomplishments have placed among leading world countries at the political, economic, social and human rights levels, he said.
HRH the Prime Minister expressed deep pride in the kingdom's wide-ranging legislation and laws, stressing the need to activate the regulations for the implementation of legislation and laws to serve society and public interests.
HRH Premier made the statements while receiving the representatives of the legislative and judicial branches, led by the Speaker of the Council of Representatives Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, the Chairman of the Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and the President of the Supreme Judicial Council Chancellor Salim bin Mohammed Al-Kuwairi, in the presence of former Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani.
The audience is in line with HRH the Prime Minister's keenness to consolidate cooperation among the three branches to push the national action forward and achieve the pre-set goals.
HRH Premier affirmed that the challenges facing the nation require patience and flexibility in order to overcome them, as well as drawing lessons from what is going on in the region to maintain the nation's security and stability, urging concerted efforts to bring about more successes in building and modernising the nation to meet the citizens' expectations in this regard.
The challenges we are facing should stimulate us to strengthen national unity through which we can safeguard the safety of the nation, he said, calling for the need not to be distracted by issues that distance Bahrainis from the top national goals.
The Prime Minister stressed that legislation and laws should be consistent with the requirements of the security and economic challenges which, he said, require stronger cooperation among all branches.
"Our country and citizens are dear to us, and deserve more efforts and dedication to fulfill their aspirations," HRH Premier said.
HRH Premier affirmed that unity, reconciliation and social communication are basic requirements for building the pillars of an advanced civilisation, stressing that Bahrain has always been –and still is- a role model for cohesion and harmony, expressing hope that the prevailing atmosphere of freedom, democracy and advanced means of communications should foster solidarity and fraternity among all social components.
HRH the Prime Minister recalled with pride the imprints of philanthropic people in the development, health, religious and social projects, which, he said, reflects the homogeneity of the Bahraini people.
