HRH Premier receives AFC President

Manama, Feb. 4 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa. He lauded the role played by Shaikh Salman in developing Asian football, stressing that the confederation’s success reflects the capabilities of Bahraini competencies in distinguished administration which leads to achievements. He stressed the international responsibility of the AFC President, affirming every support to him. HRH the Prime Minister hailed the role of AFC to develop Asian football and bring about consecutive accomplishments. He voiced Bahrain’s appreciation of the efforts of its President, praising the achievements of Asian football at the continental and international level. He also underlined the role of sport in boosting relations, wishing the AFC President and officials every success in achieving set up goals.
