HRH Premier receives Japanese ambassador

Manama, Apr. 29 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today newly-appointed Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Hideki Ito. He stressed both countries’ keenness on further development, pointing out Bahrain’s interest in bolstering cooperation with Japan mainly in the economic, industrial and investment fields. HRH the Premier reviewed with the Japanese ambassador bilateral friendly relations, stressing the government’s keenness on boosting cooperation with Japan and hailing the advanced level reached in various fields. He also spotlighted regional and international developments. The Japanese ambassador emphasised his country’s appreciation of Bahrain’s achievements which earned it pioneering places in various areas. He also praised the kingdom’s development boom in light of the government’s efforts spearheaded by HRH the Prime Minister.
