HRH Premier receives Labour and Social Development Minister

Manama, Feb. 26 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today Minister of Labour and Social Development Jamil bin Mohammed Humaidan who introduced to him new officials and directors appointed at the ministry. HRH the Premier congratulated them, wishing them success in their duties. He stressed the remarkable positive impact of the economic and social development in Bahrain on the strength of the community. He stressed power and dynamism characterising the Bahraini society, pointing out that the Bahraini people have always been known for their dedication to work and distinction. He hailed the role of the Labour and Social Development Ministry in improving productivity and the living standard of Bahraini citizens as well as providing all services guaranteeing social stability.  HRH the Prime Minister underscored Bahrain’s labour achievements which resulted in lowering the unemployment rate and which reflects success of the kingdom’s economic policies that are praised by regional and international institutions. He called to work on further decreasing that rate, directing the Labour and Social Development Ministry to continue its citizen-oriented programmes. He lauded the academic and professional success of Bahraini women, expressing appreciation of their advanced status at various ministries and public institutions. The Labour and Social Development Minister expressed heartfelt thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier for his support to the ministry and directives to further improve the labour and social development sectors. He described HRH the Prime Minister’s continuous follow-up as an incentive to exert more efforts to achieve the leadership’s aspirations. On their part, the ministry officials expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier for his valuable directives and support to the national competencies.
