HRH Premier receives Thai trade delegation

Manama, Sep. 17 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has stressed that the distinguished Bahraini-Thai relations are progressing steadily thanks to the two countries’ shared desire to reach the highest level of bilateral cooperation to meet the aspirations of their friendly peoples. HRH Premier stressed the importance of taking advantage of the advanced level reached by the Bahraini-Thai relations to build more economic and trade partnership that would benefit the two countries and their peoples. HRH Premier made the statements while receiving, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, a Thai trade delegation, led by the Thai Ambassador to Bahrain, Thanis Na Songkhla. The delegation gave a presentation about the main Thai trade and investment companies in various fields, especially in the treatment, medical and healthcare sector. HRH Premier welcomed the delegation’s visit, noting that it is within the framework of the two friendly countries’ solid relations, and shared keenness on opening up new areas of bilateral cooperation that would serve joint interests. HRH the Prime Minister highlighted the existing promising opportunities that would contribute to accelerating the pace of growth in the two countries, given their long shared history of mutual understanding and joint coordination, as well as their investment-attracting elements. HRH Premier praised friendly Thailand’s progress in various fields, stressing the importance of intensifying exchanged visits between officials and businessmen in the two kingdoms, given the visits' pivotal role in strengthening the distinguished cooperation between them. Members of the Thai delegation expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his support for all efforts aimed at bolstering cooperation between the two friendly countries, affirming that the Bahraini-Thai relations have reached the highest levels thanks to the Premier’s interest and constant efforts. They expressed hope that joint investments with Bahrain will be increased thanks to the kingdom’s facilities and investment-attracting environment. They lauded the progress boom currently witnessed by the kingdom in various fields.
