HRH Premier sends letter to Turkish President

Manama, Oct. 5 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has sent a letter to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey. Deputy Prime Minister HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa handed over the letter to the Turkish President during a meeting held at the Presidential Palace. The letter includes Bahrain's emphasis on the solid deep-rooted Bahraini-Turkish relations, HRH Premier's appreciation of Turkey's pivotal regional and international role under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as well as the Premier's keenness on enhancing cooperation in the interest of the joint interests of the two countries and their people. President Erdogan commended HRH Premier's acute statesmanship and wisdom in dealing with local, regional and international issues. He extended gratitude to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people for their honourable stances toward supporting legitimacy in his country, welcoming Bahrain's interest in boosting cooperation at various levels. He stressed keenness to upgrade cooperation with Bahrain in various fields. He noted the unmissable progress witnessed at political, economic and social levels, wishing Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity. HH Shaikh Ali Al Khalifa praised the keenness of the two leaderships to further develop the bilateral relations to meet their joint interests. He underlined Bahrain's resolve to broaden aspects of cooperation with Turkey based on mutual respect and understanding regarding regional and international issues.
