HRH Premier thanked by Al-Hurr chairman

Manama, May 2 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has received a cable of thanks and appreciation from the Chairman of the Executive Council of the Bahrain Free Labour Unions Federation (Al-Hurr) Yaqoob Mohamed Yousif on the International Workers Day. Yaqoob Mohamed Yousif extended, on behalf of Al-Hurr Executive Council, sincere thanks and deep gratitude to HRH Premier for his constant support to the Bahrain Free Labour Unions Federation and unlimited interest in ensuring decent life for Bahraini workers and their families. Since the inauguration of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's Reform Project, HRH the Prime Minister has prioritised the protection of workers and their well-being, being a pillar human rights and basic liberties, out of his belief that positive change in society cannot take place without respecting human beings and ensuring their rights to work and live decently, he said. He voiced pride in the landmark achievements of Bahraini workers thanks to the launch of the Reform Project, and the efforts of the government, led by HRH the Prime Minister. He pledged that Al-Hurr will spare no effort to project the honourable image of Bahrain at regional and international gatherings and defend the rights of workers so as to increase production and enhance progress. He prayed to Allah Almighty to bless HRH Premier with abundant good health, long life and happiness so as to continue serving the homeland.
