HRH Premier thanked by Bahrain Free Labour Union Federation

Manama, Jan. 24 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister received a cable of thanks from Bahrain Free Labour Union Federation (Al Hurr)’s Executive Board Chairman Yacoub Yousef Mohammed. He expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation of HRH the Premier’s directives to all the ministries and governmental departments to rule out any project that entails fee hike that affects the citizens until the Joint Executive-Legislative Committee completes its work and concedes on mechanism of restructuring subsidies to the most needy, eligible citizens and to develop revenue sources and the general budget without resorting to price hikes or fees that would affect the citizens. He hailed His Royal Highness’s longstanding support to all citizens’ interest including the breadwinners and their dependent families, emanating from his keenness to provide them with decent livelihood and to alleviate the onus of living cost off them according the principle of social justice. He reiterated the full readiness to cooperate with the government and the relevant departments to implement His Royal Highness’s wise directives to devise an integrated economic vision regarding the restructuring of subsidies to ensure that the citizens’ livelihood is not affected.
