HRH Premier thanks speaker, MPs for their achievements

Manama, May 3 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has sent a cable to the Speaker of the Representatives Council Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla. HRH the Prime Minister expressed deepest thanks and appreciation to the Members of the Representatives Council for the sincere feelings they had expressed during his visit to the "House of the People" on Monday, valuing highly MPs' commitment to the spirit of patriotic responsibility, which, he said, reflects the Bahraini people's honourable stances in love of the nation and dedication in its service. "We came to the House of the People to thank MPs for the commendable role they are playing at the supervisory and legislative levels, and in raising the aspirations and needs of the citizens under the dome of the Parliament," he said. HRH Premier asserted that he had visited the Council of Representatives to show support to MPs, and affirm "our sincere desire to consolidate the horizons of constructive and fruitful cooperation with all MPs in a way that strengthens democracy and promote its role as a tool to build society." "The positive atmosphere that prevailed during the meeting motivate us towards more cooperation with the Council of Representatives. What brings us together is a real partnership in building the nation and enhancing its progress," he said. HRH the Prime Minister voiced pride in the Speaker's effective contributions to the national action march, praising the landmark achievements of the Council of Representatives during the current Legislative Term, under the chairmanship of Ibrahim Al-Mulla.
