HRH Premier welcomes Chinese investments

Manama, Sep. 5 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa welcomed Chinese investments and efforts to promote trade and economic Bahraini-Chinese cooperation, affirming readiness to provide ways to develop joint investments. HRH Prime Minister today received at Qudaibiya Palace Mayor Xu Qin of Shenzhen, China, and the accompanying delegation currently on a visit to the country to discuss investment cooperation and aspects of future partnerships. HRH Prime Minister stressed Bahrain's keenness to broaden cooperation with China based on mutual respect and desire to boost joint cooperation. He noted the accessibility of cooperation opportunities to benefit from in strengthening economic, political and cultural relations to meet the aspirations of the two countries in achieving the joint interests for the benefit of both countries and their peoples. HRH Prime Minister lauded the accelerating Bahraini-Chinese cooperation thanks to the keen interest of both leaderships in boosting bilateral friendship relations. He pointed out the importance of the exchange of visits to bolster consultation and coordination, as well as reinforcing joint cooperation through encouraging the private sectors of both countries to exploit the promising investment opportunities to push the development efforts of both friendly countries. Mayor of Shenzhen hailed HRH Prime Minister's continuing efforts to boost cooperation between the two countries, looking forward the visit to contribute to expanding cooperation to higher levels.
