HRH Premier's directives to be implemented

Manama, May 13 (BNA): Following directives from His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalifa has directed the Director-General of the Capital Trustees Board to take the necessary administrative action against those who confiscated fruit and vegetables from illegal street vendors and threw them in a landfill to ensure the non-recurrence of similar incidents. The minister valued highly HRH Premier’s directives to preserve blessings, noting that the Capital Trustees Board will take immediate action to ensure the non-recurrence of the incident and hold those behind it accountable. He also vowed that efforts to clamp down on illegal street vendors will continue, in coordination with the competent sides to ensure that roads are not occupied except in accordance with the law.
