HRH Premier's directives to improve business environment hailed

Manama, May 30 (BNA): Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Sameer Abdulla Nass, has praised His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa’s assertion of the government’s keenness to strengthen and improve the business environment through launching more facilities for granting commercial and investment permits.
BCCI chairman was commenting on HRH Premier’s recent meeting with senior state officials, in which he stressed his constant desire to be informed about businessmen’s aspirations and visions regarding the current trade and economic conditions, and ways to stimulate the commercial and economic activities through partnership with the private sector.
BCCI chief expressed the satisfaction of the business, industry and investment circles in Bahrain and abroad with HRH Premier’s statements.
The Premier’s statements also consolidate investors’ confidence in the country’s investment atmosphere, and pave the way for more economic growth, especially with the participation of the private sector, in line with the Prime Minister’s directives, Nass said.
Nass stressed the need for commitment to HRH Premier’s directives, especially regarding the prevention of any delays in investment projects through issuing the required permits for businessmen and investors without any obstructions.
He added that the Prime Minister’s directives to put in place all requirements for revitalising the private sector are in line with his keenness to provide an environment that attracts local and foreign investments, noting that addressing bureaucracy and providing easy procedures for investors will ensure the success of investment projects.
BCCI chairman reiterated the business community’s full-fledged support to HRH Premier’s directives and procedures to improve the role of the private sector, strengthen the national economy and provide a positive environment in which the private sector could prosper and be able to play its role in contributing to Bahrain’s progress and to creating job opportunities for the national job-seekers.
