HRH Premier's edict restructures national anti-smoking panel

Manama, Sept. 25 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa issued Edict 21/2019 restructuring the National Anti-Smoking, Anti-Tobacco Production Committee. The restructured panel will be chaired by the Minister of Health, and the following members: Dr. Mariam Ibrahim Al Hajeri, representative from the Health Ministry, Al Sayed Kadhim, representative of the Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry, Amina Hamad Al Romaihi, representative of the Supreme Council for Environment, Amani Khamees Al Dossary, representative of the Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry, Jassim Mohammed Al Herban representative of the Ministry of Education, Abdulkarim Ali Abdulkarim representative of Customs Affairs at the Interior Ministry, Qais Hassan Al Dossary, representative of the Ministry of Information Affairs, Nawar Abdullah Al Mattawa representative of the Youth and Sports Ministry, Majid Bakri Yasseen representative of the Anti-Smoking Society, and the duration of their membership will be three years renewable.
