HRH Premier's support for charity funds, organisations hailed

Manama, Sep. 6 (BNA): Works and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan hailed the interest of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa in promoting civil charity funds and organisations, which is a support for the civil voluntary work and a stimulus to move forward with bolstering charity and voluntary work toward achieving the honourable humanitarian goals. The minister affirmed the ministry has commenced implementing HRH Premier's directives on the preparation of a comprehensive report to be submitted the Cabinet on the charity funds and organisations to include their humanitarian achievements and future programmes. He said the civil charity organisations represent a civilized aspect of community partnership and manifestation of national unity, noting the Bahraini humanitarian aid have also extended to many needy countries. He added the ministry provides financial support for civil charity organisations through the annual financial grants program that has contributed to the development of the same, consequently raised the living standard of low-income persons.
