HRH Princess Sabeeka congratulates literary award-winner

Manama, Sept.27 (BNA): Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President sent a cable of congratulations to Dr. Aneesa Fakhro who was honoured by His Highness Dr. Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah Emirate on winning the 18th Sharjah Award for Best Novel 2018, in recognition of her storytelling, documenting cultural heritage, and creative literary publications. HRH Princess Sabeeka commended Dr. Fakhro’s strenuous efforts to enrich national and Arab literary and cultural life and document Bahrain’s deep-rooted history and heritage. HRH Princess Sabeeka expressed her delight at the honourable achievement which reflects the competence and potential of Bahraini women in assuming all national responsibilities, wishing Dr. Fakhro every success.
