IAF to honor Iranian director Ali Rafiei

TEHRAN,Nov.10(MNA) -- The Iranian Artists Forum (IAF) will celebrate the birth anniversary of Iranian veteran stage and cinema director Ali Rafiei. The ceremony will be held on his 73rd birthday on January 12, 2012 and will be attended by Iranian cinema greats and stage artists. Photos of Rafiei and a book on his life will go on display on the sidelines of the celebration. The forum invited artists to submit photos they have taken during Rafiei’s film shooting, his portraits and pictures taken back stage during his productions. “Fish Fall in Love” and “Mr.Yusef” are amongst Rafiei’s cinematic credits. “Fox Hunting”, “It Does Not Snow in Egypt”, “Crime and Punishment”, “Blood Wedding” and “The Maids” are among his plays.
