ICC, UoB sign agreement

Manama, Apr. 16 (BNA): The Isa Cultural Centre (ICC) and the University of Bahrain (UoB)'s Bahrain Studies Centre signed a memorandum to boost cooperation and coordination, encourage and spread intellectual and scientific awareness. The agreement was signed by Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa the ICC Board of Trustees' Chairman on behalf of the Isa Cultural Centre and UoB's President, Dr. Ibrahim Janahi, on behalf of the University of Bahrain. Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa praised the University's administrative, academic staff, human resources and alumni who form an important part of the country's comprehensive development process. The memorandum includes cooperation on exchange of visits, consultations, publications, literature, specialized studies in history documentation in cooperation with the UoB's Bahrain Studies Centre as well as exchange of expertise, organizing and holding joint events, activities and seminars.
