Illegal rally suspects remanded in custody

06 : 49 PM - 09/08/2016 Manama, Aug. 9 (BNA): Prosecutor at the Northern Governorate Prosecution, Hassan Al-Mehza, said that the Public Prosecution had received a report from the Budaiya Police Station indicating that a number of people held an illegal gathering in Duraz and that some of them were identified, The Public Prosecution launched an immediate inquiry into the incident, questioned four suspects today, and remanded them in custody pending further investigations. It charged them with holding an assembly in breach of the provisions of the Law. The inquiry will continue in order to refer the case to the court, Al-Mehza said.
