Importance of religious, cultural events stressed

Manama, Aug. 19 (BNA): Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa stressed the governorate’s keenness to hold religious and cultural functions to all age categories, pointing out the scientific benefit of those functions. He was speaking as he opened today the pilgrimage trip exhibition which is organised by the Southern Governorate in cooperation with Bahrain Society for Women’s Development at the Oasis Centre in Riffa. During a tour of the exhibition, the Southern Governor praised the valuable information and presentation method in explaining the Hajj rituals to children and youngsters. He underlined the importance of holding religious and cultural events to boost religious values and Islamic concepts among children.
