Indian tourists injured in Phuket bus crash

PHUKET, Jan 26 (TNA) - A tourist bus crashed into a concrete barrier, leaving 16 Indian tourists injured in the resort town of Phuket. The bus was found leaned against the road barrier at the scene and rescue workers took the injured to hospital. Out of all 16 injured tourists, 14 are male and two are female. According to the initial investigation, the accident occurred when the bus came downhill through a bend on Kata hill, carrying 21 passengers. All are Indian tourists. After the brake failed to slow down the bus, the driver tried to control the bus to the roadside but it hit the concrete barrier. Now,the driver is being questioned by the police to find the cause of the accident. (TNA)
