Indonesian Delegation Join India-ASEAN Youth Summit

JAKARTA, Aug 23 (Antara) - Indonesian delegation attended India-ASEAN Youth Summit held in India from August 14 to 19 to mark the 25th anniversary of regional cooperation between India and ASEAN. More than 100 participants from 10 ASEAN member states, excluding Indian participants, took part in the event themed "Shared Values, Common Destiny," the Indonesian Embassy in New Delhi said in a press statement released recently. The Indonesian delegation consisted of Anjasmara Prasetya (yoga actor and trainer), Ratih Kumala (writer), Heni Sri Sundani (social worker/AgroEdu), Iqbal Hariadi Putra (Kitabisa Foundation), Sebastian Partogi (Jakarta Post journalist), Lailatunnazhifah (social worker/Foreign Policy Community, Indonesia), Dana Paramita (blogger and anchor of SCTV), Uncul Maulana Yusup (UNPAS student), Danny Maulana Ridwan (IPB student), and Azila Pramaningtyas Utami (UGM student). At the meeting, the Indonesian delegation spoke of the country's profile particularly related to economic, social, and cultural development. Indonesian Ambassador to India Arto Suryodipuro, who attended the closing ceremony of the summit at the invitation of the Indian Foreign Ministry, met the Indonesian delegation and hoped they would use the chance as maximally as possible by forming network and exchanging experiences to provide significant contribution for Indonesia's development in the future.
