Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister takes part in GCC meetings

Riyadh, Oct. 12 (BNA): Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani took part in the joint meeting of the GCC Ministers of Tourism and Culture and the third meeting of the GCC Tourism Ministers which convened at the GCC Secretariat General headquarters yesterday and today. A comprehensive vision for GCC joint tourism work, introduced by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH), was discussed and approved. A specialised task force of GCC experts was also formed to embark on the executive plan of the vision. The Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister asserted Bahrain's resolve to go ahead with achieving its strategic goals regarding the tourism sector, especially with the perpetual growth of this sector in Bahrain and the increasing number of tourists visiting the kingdom.
