Industry Minister meets Oman’s Heritage and Tourism Minister

Manama, May 19 (BNA): Industry, Commerce, and Tourism Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani met with Oman’s Heritage and Tourism (MOHT) Minister Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi. The meeting reviewed Bahraini-Omani relations in the tourism sector. Al Zayani stressed the importance of these meetings in enriching the tourism sector in the GCC countries and attracting international tourism markets and the initiation of inter-tourism. The two parties highlighted the joint Gulf action process in tourism and heritage promotion and investment, and the tourism plans for Bahrain’s tourism strategy 2022-2026 to develop tourism work on regional and global levels.
