Industry minister receives Egyptian ambassador

Manama, Jan. 12 (BNA): Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister, Zayed R. Al Zayani, received the Ambassador of Egypt to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Suha Ibrahim Al-Far. Welcoming the newly-appointed ambassador and wishing her success in her diplomatic duties in furthering the bilateral relations, the minister also expressed the ministry's constant readiness to provide all forms of support that will further develop and push forward the bilateral cooperation ties. He cited the role that could be undertaken by the private sector in both countries which will largely contribute in achieving the common goals. They reviewed the bilateral ties and means of boosting cooperation mechanisms in all fields, especially in the industrial, commercial, tourism and investment-related fields. They also discussed issues of shared interest.
